Seit langem mal wieder ein Update, mit kommenden neuen Locations, Tool und Features.

Kingspray: update 2025?
I woke up and read my morning Discord feeds to see what was popping, and before my eyes I saw a post that made me say ....
Kingspray just dropped a video teaser of an update they are currently working on. Now I just made a blog post talking about how KS hasn't dropped an update or patched anything in years, so this is great news for the community. Let's go over what we know about this glorious unexpected blessing.

Double spray can.
So the video shows us we can now use a can in each hand with different colors and different caps, that's pretty awesome. I did notice when they were blending the two colors on the hat, the final gradient was more like a harsh line and not a smooth blend. I hope that the final product will have a smoother transition and allow us to create some soft blends while using two cans. I'm sure it will but I'm just speaking on what I'm seeing so far. You can also drop the cans now; currently the can is locked in your hand. To add to this, we now have the ability to toss objects from hand to hand.

Battery powered spray gun.
Seems they added a cool handy dandy spray gun, usually these are filled with house paint. I wonder, will we have the ability to fill it with some bucket paint? Or will it be a color picker, like the standard can color selection?

Roller
Yay roller! This is a tricky tool to get right. If you've had the opportunity to use a roller in other VR games, it's very underwhelming. There is a huge disconnect, I think it's the disconnect of not feeling the pressure lay against the wall. I'm not sure how KS went about this but I'm very interested to give it a try.

Drone.
There is a drone! Probably to replace the director’s camera? The drone remote also has a video display for you to get those sweet shots. This is going to be good for content creation. I imagine a lot of people, especially on Quest, will now have a reason to post some awesome KS videos of their work. Hopefully it will get the attention of new gamers and boost up the community.

Walkie Talkies
This one is interesting and has me curious about something.... The only reason anyone would need a walkie talkie is to speak from long distances, so that can only mean one thing, are we getting large maps? On the display I see Connect and Zone... ZONE! That definitely is saying something? I'm not trying to get anyone's hopes up but it kind of makes sense, right? But can Quest handle something like that? Like I said, very interesting....

Flashlight
Flashlight for Quest! I hope this means some new maps. The Night gondola was the only night map and was super lit up. Let's get some real night maps in Quest KS!

Batman Mode
Lol, okay maybe not Bruce Wayne, but we can rappel down the side of a building while painting, like those crazy mofos in São Paulo. The video captures a smooth descent during painting, with no lag or choppy lines, everything looks fluid and fully functional.

Undo/Redo
At long last, the fabled Undo/Redo button hath descended upon the Quest. This arcane tool of mighty power now rests in the hands of those who shalt most direly needeth it. All hail thy mighty Undo!

TV/Displays
Vintage TV: Idk, kind of seems strange sitting right next to a huge flat screen.
Flat Screen: This one seems more useful, it's large and probably what most users will use.
Computer: Well, this has a bunch more features like a calculator, web browser, media player, messaging? It's like a whole computer within a computer! I wonder if you can run Kingspray on it?

Ape Ship
Arcade cabinet, lol this is fire. I bet it's like a Galaga type of game. You think the top score will sync across the entire community, or just local storage? If it's for all the KS users, I think we are going to have some fun seeing people compete for that top spot.

Smart Mirror
The only thing that comes to mind with this is character customization, maybe we stand there browsing through different clothing and whatnot, maybe we can purchase DLC for unique gear? I think some people will have an issue with DLC, but I don't see the issue with it as it's optional. As long as it doesn't hurt the gameplay like withholding caps or colors, then we'd have a pickle.

Customization
We can still customize our hat, mask, and cans, but I do see a mini subway train on the shelf. Can we custom paint it for a home bunker decor, or will it pull an image from the last painted subway map? You know what would really be awesome? You remember that locomotive that traveled around Mr. Rogers' neighborhood? Oh yeah, how about a subway train that passes throughout every user's bunker that has painted cars of random saved work! It would be like mini benching sessions. This is a feature we need.
