I'm proud to announce upcoming full conversion VR mod for Metro Exodus!

Featuring full 6DoF, stereo rendering, lots of VR-specific performance optimizations and custom VR interactive mechanics as well as comfort options for those that just want to enjoy the ride.

More information soon!

Scheint vorranzugehen...:

Sneak peak for the VR mechanics and features I've implemented for Metro Exodus. This and more exclusive videos and posts will be available on https://buymeacoffee.com/ripper37 for project's supporters.

Here we have a demo of how binoculars will work. Normally they will hang on your body (currently right hip) when not equipped. When grabbed, you will equip them and be able to hold them with one or both hands (for stabilization).

Once moved close enough to your face the view will switch to binoculars view (zoomed) - each eye sees the reticle from its own perspective/angle (stereo, not the same frame for both) - and allow you to zoom in and out via triggers. Reticles will grow/get smaller depending on how close you hold them to your head. Moving them further from face will stop the binoculars view and gets you back to normal view mode.

Model and the whole functionality are fully native (so all the functionality like marking points on the map works as expected/in the flat game).

Hope you like it! Leave a comment if you have some thoughts.
